Seven days is barely enough to contain all the awesomenesss.
FastCon* is a celebration of the Fast and the Furious series where hosts Greg and Selena watch the first six films, one a night, in their living room, leading up to the opening of Furious 7. There are also a series of panels and discussions, but mostly amongst themselves.
*FastCon is not affiliated in any way with the Fast and the Furious franchise, nor is it a real conference.
It’s really hard to commit to watching a movie a night, I mean we have jobs and kids and some of these aren’t even good movies.
Haven’t seen all the previous Fast and Furious movies? Now’s your chance to catch up with six movies in seven nights leading up to the viewing of Furious 7 on opening day.
After spending a week re-watching all these movies you come to realize, “I think we’re cheering for a bunch of crooks.”

Selena’s love of the series started snowballing ever since her then-boyfriend, now husband Greg and his best friend Duke quoted Dominic Toretto to each other in 2001. Today, thanks to those two, she is one of the world's leading experts on the Fast and the Furious movies.
Admittedly, Greg didn’t go all in into the series until Fast Five happened. Since then, Vin Diesel has been Greg’s spirit animal. He has considered changing all of his passwords to include the numerical order preference of the Fast and the Furious movies. Of course, that could all change on April 3rd, after the 7th movie comes out.
The core premise that they are great street racers is flawed. They don’t seem to be particularly skilled at all. They just hit the NOS button every time they need to win a race.
Since the Session Leaders, Greg and Selena, will be attending each event, that only leaves seating for two comfortably and up to five if we squish, so reserve your seat early so you do not get left out. Badges are going fast... and furiously!

It’s key that you just not think to hard. Watching 6 or 7 of these in a row will break you of that impulse. Then you really start enjoying these movies.
While we might be the definitive authority on all things Fast and Furious, other folks have written some great articles and made some epic videos about the series. Watch these to get excited and inspired for seven nights of FastCon.
